A buddy had just asked me this question
Q.You know buddy(gitam buddy) many could'nt get books from library. They say that our hav more than 12 thousand books then why are'nt they sufficient for 12 hundred students.My friends and I could'nt get books.Why can't you raise this in our blog??
A.Your point is rite but let me explain,juniors are 831(near to the exact students) in number and the books of each variety are 60 and may be 4 specified referrence books are preferred tht equals 240 studnets.That means our library is just sufficent for 1/4th of the junior students and few own they own books so the people who wont get books is the nearly 500 students .So we need to share books..!!Maybe hostelers can share as all 4 or 3 in a room wont study the same subject and we cant expect 831 copies of a book also..!!Just think of it..!!And in our library we don't have enough space and racks for the buks already we have also..and they r giving a book for 2weeks and again renewing it because of this many are not getting for long time which is not at all needed if we leave in other days atleast during exam days they should'nt do like this it would be fine if they reduce it to 1week..
First freshers party in gitam

Timings:11am to 4pm
IT juniors had their freshers party on sunday,5th september. Though our seniors partied last year, its not freshers because they didnot have seniors to organise it. so this is the 1st of its kind in gitam. Around 100 students attended the party[each paid 500rs] and the party kicked off it with juniors introduction... each junior was asked to introduce themselves and even tell about their crushes,b.f/g.f(question paper is leaked and rest of the juniors be ready for this sort of questions)
It is folllowed by seniors introduction and ofcourse they escaped juniors questions and said only what they wanted to :-) And almost every one were dancing mad to the awesome music played by the DJ... infact most of the day it was only dancing.
Except for 5to6 boys, the party was pretty clean and good.But the saddest ting is there was only one item for lunch(veg biryani) apart from drinks..but it was fine.The introduction program could be more better but still it helped to recognise all the faces of IT family.
The party ended with the celebration of a senior birthday party.

As promised by the Gitam buddies we could,nt start the blog on the 8th sept'10.We are very sorry to say that our FB account(Gitam Buddy) was hacked yesterday for 12 hours from morning till the noon as we recovered it.And sorry if any of our buddies had a problem wid that...We are safe now..!!
Anyway we are here to rock and rule not to abuse or to hurt anyone's feelings.And another major issue is no Junior is gonna abuse the any Senior or they have to face the dirty face of the management and staff we all are gitamites no differences..So BUDDIES lets all together say
